THE NEW NORMAL
Coronavirus has impacted people in a range of ways, from exasperating underlying mental health issues to bringing on new health anxieties. For those having contracted the virus, long term post viral fatigue (PVF) can be a daunting daily reality. The constant messaging that there is a threat out there can feel overwhelming at times, but with support you can regain balance and feel in control again.
COVID RELATED ANXIETIES
This time spent living with an external threat to our health is impacting us in various ways, the extent to which we are yet to uncover. For example I have spoken to people who have developed agoraphobia as a result of lockdown, or had previously overcome it to only be faced with this illness once more. Many people have been living with underlying mental health issues and neurosis that have been brought to the surface by this 'new normal', from depression to anxiety and panic attacks. Others have been thrown into a constant state of alert imagining their own non-existent health issues or that of loved ones.
Though this can feel overwhelming, we can see a potential opportunity to deal with any old issues holding you back and to learn how to manage your health moving forwards.
POST VIRAL FATIGUE + CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME (CFS)/ME
Research is showing that for some the long term affects of contracting COVID are very similar to CFS/ME and present as post Viral Fatigue (PVF) that can last for weeks to months. I have first hand experience of living with CFS/ME and am committed to using my experience to support people to discover a more energised life. The reasons that some of us are impacted by such health conditions in different ways to a large extent relates to our immune systems functioning and our personal life history.
Through a series of sessions we will work together holistically to take steps in improving your health and allowing you to see a future beyond your current exhaustion. Change is possible, but it doesn't happen over night and requires ongoing therapy. We will start with 6 weekly sessions, which is FREE for a limited time whilst I am in training.
