When I was hit with chronic illness I realised that the sickness had been building for a long time and that I couldn't suppress my symptoms anymore. I was being forced to confront the underlying causes of my illness.
Through rest, self-compassion, deep healing, daily spiritual practice, therapy and nutrition, I have discovered a fuller life than I imagined possible. It has been my experience that the cracks of dis-ease can shake us awake, causing us to see life and our place in it differently. An awakening of sorts...
When I was forced to rest, everything got really quiet and I began to re-connect with a part that had been neglected. For me, this was the soul...that which connects us to something greater than ourselves.
The induced trance of hypnotherapy connects us to this part and bypasses the chattering of the everyday conditioned mind. It is wonderfully healing and the central tool of the Fatigue support pathway. Trance has been used in many different cultures to access this part of human experience, from shamanic ceremonies to Ancient Egyptian practices.
I have seen profound healing through hypnosis, personally and in clients, and it is my aim to support you to learn self-hypnosis and become your own healer. We will develop a tool kit together, that will bring stuck energies to the surface and set you on a new path.

Over the years I have worked with a wide range of therapists, from psychoanalysts and counsellors to sound healers and acupressure practitioners. I have found holistic therapies to be essential in taking care of my health, mind and body. So often we wait until we are in crisis to seek such support, when it is best to use these tools to prevent illness and live a more balanced life.
We know our car needs regular maintenance to perform at it's best, yet we neglect our own body and mind.
The most important message is that all any therapy is doing is unlocking the resources that lie within you waiting to be tapped into. It took me some time to realise and embrace this responsibility for my own health. Our mind and body holds such wisdom and sometimes we need to support to access it. Often a therapeutic space helps us get out of our own way and reach a healing state of homeostasis as we shut out the modern world. From this place we can begin to clear and move into new energy, discovering that there truly IS MORE TO THIS LIFE.
